Determinants in Adoption of Rainwater Harvesting Technology

The role of technology in achieving sustainable increase in production & improving living standard of society is documented in many literatures given the fact that technological changes expand the production possibility frontiers is central to increase agricultural production. By assessing RWH practices in different settings, identifying the challenges and opportunities of the existing RWH practices, the research can provide insight for policy makers and RWH practitioners to review, and improve their current approach. Therefore actors involved in agricultural development must be aware & need to understand factors which affect the adoption of RWH technologies. It is also important for policy makers to know the determinant factors for efficient allocation of the country¿s scarce resources for research, extension & development programs.
