Darfur states hold substantial population of camels especially in the northern tinges of the regions. Despite that research and investigations on camels are scanty because of instability and poor security. Consequently, information on the situation of camel diseases in Darfur remained obscure. So far, published researches on camel trypanosomosis are very few. For these reasons attempts to explore the situation of disease in camels in Darfur particularly trypanosomosis and their impact on health production and productivity can be of practical value in formulation of control strategies.
