Design of a Bioreactor for the Treatment of Sludge

The design of a Bioreactor imposes a major challenge to Engineers and Scientists worldwide. Bioreactor design fail because a Bioreactor cannot be designed using Chemical Engineering knowledge alone. The mechanism of a Biological reaction is different from that of a Chemical reaction but most Engineers and Scientists often interwoven the both and at a point get stucked. Besides being tedious, the design of a Bioreactor embodies knowledge of multi-disciplines, hence fabrication without designing has been the order over the centuries. The author has successfully designed a Bioreactor following the principles of biological reactions and multi-disciplines. A study of the book can surmount the prevalent challenges.
