Design & Development of Open Educational Resources in Higher Education

Library and information services have dramatically changed over the last couple of years. Now access to information is not limited to what is physically available in a particular library. Information is accessible free of charge from a wide variety of globally distributed commercial repositories such as open access journals, open access archives and open course ware etc. Now libraries can provide world wide access to a never ending supply of distributed information and knowledge in electronic form that is constantly available and updated.
