He completed AMIE in Electrical Engineering from Institution of Engineers, Kolkata, in 1990, M.Tech and Ph.D. from IIEST Shibpur, Howrah, in 1999 and 2012. He completed 25 years of teaching experience in Technical Institutions. His research interests in STATCOM and its application to Power Systems. He has published 12 research articles in International journal and one article in national journal. He received best paper award in conference from IIEST Shibpur Howrah and IISc Bangalore and Madan Mohan Malviya award from Indian Engineering Congress Hyderabad.
