Energy is the measure of the ability of a body to do work. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can be converted from one form to another, Being human we are more concern with the form of energy which is useful for us and hence we made our upmost effort in its conversion to useful form. Energy is measured in joules and One joule is equivalent to the energy stored in a mass of 100 grams at a height of 1 meter from ground in earth¿s gravitational field with a gravitational constant 10 meter per Second Square. Out of many other forms of energy, some are listed below, o Potential Energy: Energy in a body due its position or configuration in to a force field. o Kinetic Energy: Energy in a body due to its motion. o Thermal Energy: Energy in a body due to the continuous motion of particles within it. o Radiation Energy: Energy stored in electromagnetic waves. o Electrical Energy: Energy stored in an electrically charged particle in an electrical field.
