Depression is one of the great evils in today's society and even more so when there is a diagnosis of HIV, AIDS: so every day health professionals seek strategies to facilitate intervention in a timely manner. For this purpose, the ideal is to diagnose early, achieving an intervention at the right time. Through this text the reader will be able to visualize how to identify this condition in conjunction with HIV, establishing a differential diagnosis between depression and all the concomitant effects and physical, emotional and social changes that are caused by the infection.
