Dental Anesthesia

Local anesthetics are believed to be the most frequently used drugs in clinical dentistry. They are used to fight the pain that is concomitant with most dental procedures, The possible effects of local anesthetic (lidocaine 2% +1.80000 adrenalin) used in dentistry on hemodynamic and on different salivary stress biomarkers are discussed. Assessment of the effect of local anesthetics by using salivary biomarkers is also investigated. The possible interaction between different salivary biomarkers is also evaluated. The effect of various dental treatment (filling, extraction, and surgical operation) on patients response to dental anesthesia by using salivary biomarkers is evaluated. The possible relation between measurement of stress (MDAS) with with different salivary biomarkers and the effect of local anaesthetic is correlated.
