Date Palm Marketing in Jigawa State, Nigeria

The area, Jigawa State was chosen because of the suitability of the area in date palm production which had made the Federal Government of Nigeria establish the date palm sub-section under the Nigerian Institute of Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) in Dutse, the state capital in 1981. The book is one of its kind because it deals with the income distribution of marketers and the end result they arrived at, in marketing their produce.
