Critical Care Problems of Patients after CABG and Nursing Strategies

A descriptive, explorative study was undertaken with an intention to equip nurses working in cardiac intensive care units to face the challenges.The study was done among patients following coronary artery bypass grafting surgery and a nursing guide was brought out based on the findings of the study. The study findings are well organized with: -Need for the study -Conceptual framework and its application -Extensive review of literature -Analysis and interpretation -Discussion supported with adequate studies -Abstract -Nursing guide The content of the book with its scope and depth has widened further to cater the needs of Master level of nursing students.
