Critical analysis of institutional and legal frameworks

Burkina Faso, like other countries in Africa and elsewhere in the world, has experienced a boom in its mining and quarrying sector in recent years, mainly in gold, phosphates, cement limestone, etc. However, the exploitation of these resources is not without consequences for the environment and social milieu.However, the exploitation of these resources is not without consequences on the environment and the social environment, hence the adoption of legal instruments both national and international and institutions for regulation.
