Counselling Guide

This Counseling Guide is meant to assist teacher Counselors both in Schools and Colleges to be able to help the youth attain their emotional, social, moral and psychological stability. It will enhance the skills and techniques of counselors and improve on their competence while handling their clients. The content of this guide includes; counseling skills and techniques,counseling theories, types of counseling, the counseling process and emerging issues that require guidance and counseling. Above all, it has also covered extensively the challenges of Adolescents and how the counselor can help them cope. This is aimed at enabling adolescents acquire self- identity/ high self - esteem and thus build their personality and confidence, which will also boost their academic performance.
