Corporate Real Estate Management in Tanzania

Corporate Real Estate Asset (CREA) is regarded as the fifth resource and the second largest cost factor of the corporate entities. Appropriate decision making and effective management of this resource has been known to reduce costs and yield financial values and social benefits. However, inappropriate decisions and improper management have been the hallmark of corporate entities when it comes to CREA; more so in Developing world. This book uses case study approach to gather evidence on the management of Corporate Real Estate Assets in Developed country (Germany) and Developing country (Tanzania). It has been shown that CREA management decisions in Germany are based on market and financial analysis which is not the case in Tanzania.
