CORONA VIRUS AND PANDEMIC

The recent pandemic occurring throughout the world has affected every country. This disease is known as COVID 19 and is caused by a novel Coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. It causes infections of more than 4 million and over 1million deaths bringing economic progress of all countries to an all-time low. Again people have faced a new normal life with Social isolation, unemployment, On-line education even for primary students, a new type of office culture as Work from home in all spheres. More and more works are going on to find out the origin of this novel virus, its pathogenicity, the transmission of infection, replication and others. Scientists are working hard to find out the anti-viral drugs and vaccine. Regarding the origin of this dreadful virus, there are some controversy and scientists are trying hard to find out the remedy so that this type of dangerous virus may not originate in future. Thus the study of the present virus is needed both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. With this background, an attempt has been made to write a book on coronavirus dealing with some important aspects which will be helpful to students.
