The designed cell can also be used to recover precious metals from their impure solutions. The technique of electrolysis is coupled with ultrasound and with resins has enhanced the current efficiency and substantially reduced the cost of energy consumption. This sono-electrolytic cell is much more effective and less expensive than the cost of the medicines consumed to recover the patients suffering from water born diseases.
