CONTENT ANALYSIS OF 'NUTRITION AND DIETETIC COMMUNICATION'' IN NEWSPAPER

DNA (Daily News Analysis) is one of the major English Newspaper daily published from Mumbai and from other metros in India. Targeted at a young readership, it is Mumbai''s fastest growing newspaper in any language. A short-term study was undertaken to analyze content and make a detailed descriptive study about the content of ¿Nutrition & Dietetic Communication''.¿Nutrition & Dietetic Communication'' may be described as a ¿continuous process of sending and receiving information on Nutrition & Dietetic issues at various stages of human life, through various channels or modes of communication, for the benefit of persons and their relatives, with an aim and objective of informing, intervening and educating, for participation of persons for sound health and well-being in a society''. In this book I have depicted the content analysis of the daily newspaper reports in terms of ¿Nutrition & Dietetic Communication''. This book will throw light on the status of ¿Nutrition & Dietetic Communication'' in the print media dailies existing in the community and their role in meeting the challenges in wholesome nutrition.
