Consumer Jurisprudence

From the very moment when a person comes into this world, he starts consuming water, milk, bread, clothes, oil, soap, house, and many more things and these need keep taking one form or the other throughout life. Thus we all are consumers in the literal sense. At the same moment it also becomes important to protect consumers from their exploitation as there are many instances where a consumer is harassed or cheated in one way or another which caused to the birth of ¿Consumer Jurisprudence¿. According to Mahatma Gandhiji ¿customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it.¿
