The present study is undertaken to know how far consumer cooperatives are able to protect the interests of the consumers as per selected variables like price advantage, purity of goods, efficient customer service etc. The author has made an analysis of opinion collected from four different consumer cooperatives in order to find out the variations in the services of respective consumer cooperatives and suitable suggestions have been given based on the findings of the study.
