Computing and Mathematics Applied to Civil Engineering

In any area of expertise, including Engineering, there is a need to include in your research topics that relate to other areas of knowledge such as the use of computing applied to Engineering and mathematics applied to Engineering. In this way, it is necessary to disseminate the results in order to contribute to the acquisition and production of new knowledge for the interested community. Therefore, the objective of this work is to present a collection of articles on themes inherent to the area of computing and mathematics applied to structural engineering with the Scilab software, presenting a total of five chapters. The authors of the chapters of this work are engineers, professors and undergraduate and graduate researchers in Civil Engineering from public and private institutions in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
