Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev in 2017 addressed the Message to the People of Kazakhstan «The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness». In order to implement this message, the Government of Kazakhstan adopted the Cybersecurity Concept.One of the proposed measures to accomplish the Concept¿s task is to create conditions for effectively combating cybercrime by continually improving the skills of personnel in specialized units, expanding the arsenal of technical means of fixation and forensic research of «digital evidence», as well as conducting, together with representatives of the industry, ongoing analysis and quasi-public sector software and telecommunications equipment in order to determine the prospects of replacing them with trusted domestic or foreign samples that have undergone mandatory certification procedures for compliance with information security requirements.
