Competitive High Achievement Category: strategic path to success.

Cuban athletics, had results at the highest international level in the discipline of the 100 m/p, in past decades, disappearing due to multiple situations, which have not allowed the development in contemporaneity. There is no comprehensive strategic projection at school and youth age, which projects the young people with aptitudes for this discipline in the medium and / or long term to be projected in the High International Competitive Performance. What is allowed, to propose the category of High Competitive Achievement for age levels (school, pre-cadet-cadet and youth and international youth). In addition, it is also proposed, the distance of the 100 yards for the School level, as well as the minimum marks for the school level, and ratification of the results for the other levels. The Functional Pyramid of the proposed category is exposed. The conclusions are based on specifications that complement the proposal.
