COMPARATIVE STUDY OF FORMAL AND NON FORMAL TRAINING IN ADIRE PRODUCTION

Training constitutes a vital segment of an educational system through which any society can improve the productivity of its work force and reduce unemployment. Training is very essential in our country for both young and old to ensure that they are useful for both self and the nation at large. Through training, series of discoveries are made that result in over all development of the society. These could be through accidental discoveries or through a conscious search for solution to lifes problem. These training could be formal or non-formal in nature. This research work delves into comparative study of formal and non-formal training in the production of Adire, Batik and Prints in Abeokuta.
