Despite Brazil being one of the world's largest steel producers, the use of steel structures in buildings has not been significant if compared to the potential of the Brazilian industrial park. The use of industrialised construction systems such as SFL requires skilled professionals, detailed and integrated projects in order to minimise losses and construction deadlines. In this respect, civil engineers and architects play a fundamental role in encouraging the use of new techniques and products.
