Comparative Effectiveness of Bronchial Asthma Treatment

The book is based on the results of a study of the effectiveness of some methods of influencing patients by increasing the awareness of patients, their level of cooperativeness and motivation for treatment in order to achieve control of bronchial asthma. An attempt has been made to take an integrated approach to educational activities in patients with bronchial asthma and their relatives. The main goal of the treatment of patients with bronchial asthma, according to the Global Initiative on Bronchial Asthma (GINA ¿ Global Initiative for Asthma), is to achieve and maintain optimal disease control. The criteria for sufficient control are the absence of the patient or the insignificant severity of the symptoms of the disease, the limitations of daily life, the need for short-acting bronchodilators, the rare occurrence of exacerbation. In practical medicine, there are significant difficulties in achieving control of bronchial asthma.The work is addressed to pulmonologists and therapists, as well as clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, researchers in the field of respiratory medicine, students of medical universities.
