Community Democracy as an African Alternative, Social Pact in DR Congo

To reflect, to seek and to examine the meaning of everything without linking, if possible, to the pre-established system of values, remains the constant effort in this very perilous exercise which, in any case, requires the knowledge of the natural laws in their self-acting effects that favor the elevation of the culture and of the whole man. One discovers then that the essential function of culture is the invention of values, concepts, methods and principles. And the approach of cultural analysis reveals that the culture of a people translates its capacity to find alone, in its immediate environment, its own solutions to the multiple and diverse challenges it encounters throughout the ages. Therefore, the art of development, as the crowning achievement of this permanent quest, becomes the faculty of inventing spaces of expression in which to blossom spiritual values such as gifts and the intensity of the relationship with the creative force and its application, and to consciously develop earthly values including the power of work as well as the wealth of the soil, subsoil and landscapes. A new order of things will not happen without a new order of knowledge!
