Communication Accommodation in the ESL Classrooms in Pakistan

Various research studies are done in the field of English language teaching to ensure effective learning and to cater to the need of quality teaching. This study focuses on evaluating the issue from yet another fresh angle. It aims to look at the dimensions of English Language class room through the prism and wisdom of communication theories in general and Communication Accommodation theory ( CAT) in particular. The teaching methods eventually influence the students¿ learning in the classroom. The learning of a student becomes completely significant achievement when English as the medium of instruction is the noteworthy point. The prevalent characteristics of this research were to extract the instructor¿s various styles of teaching and communication to consider the learning standard of students in different teaching strategies and styles.
