This work leaves aside the magical or apparently logical and rational answers that patients give around their condition for their recovery, reflecting the main cognitive distortions that patients present before their condition, far from being equal between men and women, as well as the educational level that each one of them presents to cope with a condition, which in most cases takes them by surprise. The purpose of this work is to reflect how this medical condition can be faced with psychological help for better adherence to treatment, in addition to the psychology service helps to restructure the process of health-illness through cognitive behavioral therapy focusing not only on the care of mental illness, but also how biological diseases influence the emotional states of the individual.
