Coated and Laminated Fabrics- Processes, Methods and Techniques

This book deals with Coated Fabrics & Laminations. It is very important concept of textile structures and have a wide range of applications. The present study deals with manufacturing methods of coated fabrics along with fibers and fabrics. Polymers and additives used in coated fabrics are included. Process of coating agents to the textile substrate can be considered as multi-layered material. Textile materials coated with chemicals have been developed from several decades. The basic substrate of the surface material is mostly textile fabric coated on one or both sides with one or more polymer layers. This kind of products with the basic textile material has many improved properties and multiple advantages and also many applications over the classic textile material.
