Cloud Platforms for Process Optimisation

Cloud computing is proven to be high in scalability, reliability, availability and flexibility in its delivery and services. Due to this fact, this project has been initiated to analyze on its feasibility for process optimization. In fact, cloud computing had already invited debates among the chief executive of the companies of major manufacturing industries which saw them as in favor to the practicality of this network facility. The process optimization here is referring mainly to the chemical processes such as heat exchanger, distillation, crystallization, and to name a few. This project is integrating the side of knowledge transfer and Information Technology to the chemical world. Therefore, this research is seen to be part of the successful series in supporting the motion of the implementation of cloud platforms for process optimization which is expected to return a high efficiency in production mechanisms with much cost effective to the participating enterprises.
