Climate change projections for the united Republic of Tanzania

The impacts of climate change are predicted to affect social-economic development in many countries around the global. I feel strongly that countries should start taking necessary steps to develop and mainstream adaptation and mitigation policies into all development projects. However, before the devising of the adaptation and mitigation policies, it is necessary to characterize and understand the future climate change at temporal and spatial scales to provide evidence that would guide the policy formulation process. Here Dr. Philbert Luhunga provides a comprehensive study about the future climate of Tanzania derived from high resolution regional climate models. The presented climate change projections in this book are necessary for updating climate change adaptation and mitigation policies in Tanzania. Moreover the presented results are necessary for impacts studies assessments over Tanzania.
