Climate Change Impact on Paddy Farming in Tamil Nadu

This book is designed to satisfy the reader¿s and to understand very fundamental aspects related to climate change. The study was conducted at Kalingarayan and Ponnaniyar basins comprising both Erode and Tiruchirappalli districts of Tamil Nadu. From each district by ten villages randomly selected from each of the two blocks and thus a sample of 100 paddy farmers were selected from each block through purposive sampling method. A total of 200 paddy farmers were surveyed for the study. The specific objective of the book is to study the impact of climate change in various dimensions. In addition that author has made an attempt to find out the problems faced by paddy farmers and suggestions to overcome the problems.
