Cleft lip and cleft palate are congenital anomalies that occur in the face during fetal development. The success in management of cleft lip and cleft palate can be ensured by the adherence of fundamental principles and an interdisciplinary approach ie. "Shared management" among all professionals. Our biggest challenge in the treatment of cleft lip cleft palate is "Family centered services". It is always important to listen to families and let them guide us to make ourselves a part of the child and its family.
