Class struggle, trade unionism in the time of the coronavirus

In the face of the coronavirus epidemic, they would have us believe that we would have no choice. In reality, in the time of the coronavirus, the class struggle takes on a completely different dimension, it is a class war. It becomes exasperated and the violence of Capital is and will be increasingly exercised. There will be a need for stronger resistance. The capital/labour contradiction is and will be more acute. The real challenge will be to rise to the level that events demand. The pandemic raises a host of questions about the nature of the dominant system in which we live and thus about the very future of humanity. They call into question social relations, those between States, institutions, relations between the peoples of the North and those of the South, the mode of production, property relations, the relationship to nature through climate change, values and beliefs. One thing is certain, in this era of unbridled selfishness, the pandemic is adding to neo liberal barbarity.
