Thrust together by fate, a diverse group of adventurers from a mix of races and backgrounds-a troll, a samurai, a paladin, an elvish huntress, and a minstrel become the inheritors of a powerful magic that is expressed through knowing the real Name of a person or an object. Chosen as the first of their kind in millennia, Pax, Gerald, Korivare, Jiang, and Telemnar must begin their journey on the path of becoming True Namers.

Whether by fate or the intervention of the divine, as they begin their training this group of five, as the first True Namers in ages, must find a way of brokering peace between the warring gods and their separate pantheons.

But, to master their powers and become the mediators the world needs, they must look deep within themselves to discover who they truly are and the power that their abilities hold.
