Chitosan/Polyacrylamide Blends Containing Nano-hydroxyapatite

The main goal of this book is to introduce new composite material based on natural polymeric matrix suitable for biomedical applications. This book includes preparation, characterization and bioactivity behavior of chitosan/polyacrylamide blends containing nano-hydroxyapatite. This work can be divided into three basic sections. Section (I) concern "Structural properties and Preparation of pure materials (hydroxyapatite (HA), chitosan (CHI), and polyacrylamide (PAAm))", Section (II) concern "Blending and Structural properties of CHI/PAAm films" and Section (III) concern "Testing of structural properties, chemical properties, thermal properties and in vitro bioactivity of equimass CHI/PAAm blend containing different mass fractions of prepared nano-hydroxyapatite".
