The impact of fluorosis has far-reaching dangerous consequences to the communities, initially, it managed to identify all the affected endemic regions/districts in the country, in the region SADC states and internationally. This was the first research in Zimbabwe to publicly announce the dangers of fluoride to the public. At present, because of his research findings, approximately 6 million people in Zimbabwe need help through mitigation of fluorosis. The public is aware of the problem and government now wants to mitigate fluorosis. The dangerous impact of fluorosis increases because of global warming and climate change; most people are now relying on underground water because wet swamps and dams are drying up. The communities use deep waters, such as: bores, deep wells, springs etc., which are rich in fluoride leading to fluorosis. Borehole water is very safe for consumption because it is free from water-borne diseases and only needs fluoride analysis before commissioning it for use. On immune suppression, this is a breakthrough for people who suffer from TB, Cancer, HIV/AIDS, ARTHRITIS, Diabetics, as the excessive consumption of fluoride makes the illness become worse.
