Charismata in Pauline Theology

Scholars engage in different types of theology. For example, they either engage in systematic, dialectical, historical, practical or biblical theology which is divided into Old Testament theology and New Testament theology as the case may be. From the outset we need to remind ourselves that the New Testament is a document or writings or letters that were written within a particular context to address a particular situation which may not actually be relevant to the Africa context, but which may be adapted to fit in to African cultural milieu especially the sermon on the mount or ¿sayings of Jesus¿ or the ¿words of the apostolic fathers¿ which the church has accepted as authentic for ages.
