Charecterization of Proteins Involved in Cancer Disease Development

This book will be useful for the under standing of active sites anatomy of the proteins which are mainly kinases involved in the cancer disease in Human being the active sites are predicted using online server CASTp . The characterization of these active sites is done which includes the volume of the cavity active site,total number of Carbon,Nitrogen, Hydrogen atoms in the active site,polar amino acids,charged amino acids,Pocket area,Pocket volume ,amino acids predicted in the cavity,Hydrogen bond Donors in the cavity This characterization will be useful for identification of candidate drug molecule ,for molecular docking ,simulation and molecular dynamics study. as for molecular docking( drug designing )basic information is needed as Total number of Hydrogen bond donors ,receptors ,volume of the cavity of the target,total number of Carbon atoms,Nitrogen atoms ,Metal ions ,Molecular weight This will be useful for screening of the ligand compounds.
