Characterization of anxiety in pregnant women

A study of pregnant women belonging to Hogar Materno 2 (Maternity Home 2) at Policlínico Capitán Roberto Fleites, in the city of Santa Clara, was carried out. The objective was to characterize them in terms of symptoms of anxiety during their stay in this institution. The study is based on a population of 21 patients, and from them an intentional sample of 10 pregnant women is chosen for the period November 2017 to December 2018, in which the criteria for inclusion is to have more than 20 weeks of gestation and a stay in the institution of approximately 2 months. The study is multi-stage: a first stage of personological and floral diagnosis, the second of implementation of the Therapeutic System and the third of evaluation of the effectiveness of the System. For the purposes of this Thesis, it will be taken to the second stage. For diagnostic purposes, a series of psychological tests will be used, including: Semi-structured Interview. Self-esteem inventory (Coopermisth). Trait and State Anxiety Inventory (IDARE). Bach self-assessment.
