"I must say

her life appears a mess-

a real live maiden in distress.

Unless I choose

to get involved

it is unlikely

her problem will be solved".......

I say:

"Gracious me! I do declare

I have nothing to wear!

My hospital wardrobe is small

I hardly have anything at all

in my size."

I continue:

"Oh God, most wise,

you know that talking with God

seems a little odd."

God then says:

"Talking with you

seems peculiar too."

Catherine E. Goin, who was diagnosed with an acute schizophrenic episode in 1974, is on a mission to share with others what she learned from her doctors about mental health issues throughout her forty years of outpatient psychotherapy.
