Challenges and Benefits of Collaborative Learning at Higher Education: UiTM (Perlis) Experience is aimed at raising the awareness on the idea of implementation of collaborative learning in higher learning institutions. The book begins with the first chapter that gives a general description of the higher learning institutions in Malaysia, followed by the focus on UiTM (Perlis). The third chapter discusses the teaching methods employed by its lecturers. Chapter four introduces the use of collaborative learning in classrooms and some aspects that instructors need to consider when implementing this technique. A discussion on the terms team work, group work and collaborative work is included in the following chapter.The different types of collaborative activities are explained in the sixth chapter. The book ends with a report on the research done to UiTM lecturers in their implementation of collaborative teaching in chapter seven. With the information that is shared in this book, it is hoped that instructors will have a better perspective about the current situation of teaching and the implementation of collaborative teaching.
