Beschreibung
This paper explains the certification of the Galileo Test Environment (GATE) by NavCert GmbH which was successfully completed in 2011 and 2013. The paper basically consists of two parts. After an explanation of the background of certification detailed in chapters 2 to 4, chapters 5 and 6 explain how the certification of the test-bed was performed and what tests results were achieved. Chapter 7 summarizes the results and gives a brief outlook into the future.
