Censorship and Mind Control in the Communist Era

Bogdan Ficeac¿s book is a reference work for two main reasons: 1. Approaches the subject of mass manipulation in totalitarian systems. Furthermore, the subject of institutionalized brainwashing methods for turning entire civilizations into obedient armies of "new people" is developed; 2. It contains relevant documents from the top secret archives of The Central Committee of the Romanian Communist Party, showing the actions taken for creating a vast system of total control over human communications, so that no one can access other sources of information except for the official one. Thus, the way of thinking of an entire nation would be radically restructured and the young generation should be indoctrinated from the earliest age. Many of these documents are not available to the public or researchers, not even to this day, the inventory of such archives being a very slow and complicated process.
