Aggression and violence are significant clinical problems in psychiatric settings, however, researches exploring violent behavior are limited and neglected area of investigation. Management of violence and aggression is subdivided according to, short-term therapy (acute emergency patients), in which a rapid intervention is used to control the acute stages of violence, which often constitute a medical emergency.
