Catalytical and electrical performance of nanocomposites

Multifunctional nanocomposites based on conducting polymers, carbon materials, clay, and noble metal have attracted much attention of researchers and engineers in both academia and industrial fields because of their outstanding conductivity and catalytic activity which can be applied for many important applications such as energy storage devices, electrocatalysts, biosensors, gas separating membranes, corrosion inhibition, electromagnetic shields, and water purification. The present book proposes a novel approach for the fabrication of multifunctional nanocomposites with the tunable properties suitable for various potential catalytic applications as well as provides an insight into the electrical conductivity and catalytic performance of these nanocomposites.
