Business Law

This book is about laws relating to business entities, operating for profits. It is natural, that human beings enter into business transactions as a matter of necessity, this is principally caused by well settled issues of interdependence, specialization and more importantly of late, by globalization, which in turn is driven by widespread use of information technology. The law regulates practically all aspects of human life and with reference to business, it is immaterial whether the business is new or operating as a going concern, or in the process of merger, acquisition or liquidation; the law still plays a significant role. This text is written to meet the need of students in universities, other tertiary institutions and professionals offering Business Law as a course, not only that but also, it shall cater for the need of citizens who engage in different business transactions, where the law is indispensable.
