Business Analytics in Production & Operations Management

This textbook uses a modular approach to present the various topics. It is easily adaptable to using a spreadsheet. By customizing the spreadsheet to a specific topic in Production and Operations Management, a whole array of modules will have been made available to the student at the end of each topic. Thus less time is spent redesigning the spreadsheet whenever a new topic is covered. As a result, the depth and breadth of the topics covered is enhanced; and the student continuously improves his computing skills as computer technology continues to evolve. The book also clearly exposes the student to the use of advanced features of spreadsheets, as well as the TI-83/84 calculator for solving some Operatons Management problems. In addition, the student gets a psychological boost in the use of computer solutions as a tool in the decision-making process.
