Building Student Spirituality: Duty of University Personnel

It is often said that youth are the leader of tomorrow; but recently it has been discovered that youth are not just the leader of tomorrow they are also leaders of today. Whatever the societal atmosphere of today, it is being influenced by the youth and whatever be the situation tomorrow, those who are youth today will be the ones sitting on the leadership seats dictating the events. Youth who are connected with God and recognized that they are accountable to him will have positive influence on the society both today and tomorrow. Youth form and establish their worldview while in college/university. Therefore, the influence of college/university personnel on youth in regard to connection to God is very vital to societal development. Hence, this book is recommended to all who work for and with youth, especially on educational campuses, as a manual to building the spirituality of the young people. The emphasis is on building spirituality through interpersonal relationship. Although the book uses West Africa as a case study, the principle is applicable everywhere.
