Boosting Population-Health Literacy through Intervention

The Population-Health status of India is dismal and depressing as revealed by various Population-Health indicators such as population growth, life expectancy, fertility rate, birth and death rates, contraceptive prevalence rate, incidence of diseases and disabilities, extent of immunization, etc. A comparison of the statistics on Population-Health indicators of India with neighbouring countries such as China and Sri Lanka reflect the low Population-Health status in India.
