BLASTING

The book presents examples related to various aspects of blasting, both blasting-related and blasting-dependent operations and processes, namely: definition of optimal parameters for the performance of mining works on an open pit, seismic impact of artificially induced earthquakes by blasting on the stability of surrounding objects, controlled blasting during the excavation of the foundations of the piers S1L and S1R of the Vranduk-I bridge on the Vc highway route, defining the blasting technology during the excavation of the "Vranduk II" evacuation tunnel on the M17 road, defining the blasting technology and determining the optimal excavation method in function of minimal damage to the rock mass of poorer quality outside the excavation profile in tunnel construction, safety measures at work during the execution of mass drilling and mining works on the surface and safety measures at work in underground rooms and tunnel construction.
